Doris M. Mitchell

Doris M. Mitchell, age 96, formerly of Marion, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, December 1, 2022 at Hamilton Trace Senior Living in Fishers, Indiana.

Doris was born on March 27, 1926, in Marion, Indiana, the daughter of the late Leroy and Bedelia (Yeager) Wilson.  She married Lester Mitchell on July 6, 1946, and he preceded her in death on March 9, 2010.  Doris was a member of Grace Community Church in Marion.

She is survived by a daughter, Deborah (Merrel) Brubaker of Marion;  sister, Christina (John) Johnson of Marion; two grandchildren, Matthew Brubaker of Marion and Mitchell (Lindsay) Brubaker of Fishers; and 6 great-grandchildren, Avery, Jack, Quinn, Emma and Hannah Brubaker and Logahan Sonner.

She was also preceded in death by a brother, Collie J. Snyder, and a sister, Virginia Coan.

Arrangements are entrusted to Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 W. Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.

Graveside Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. (Noon) on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at Grant Memorial Park Cemetery, Marion, Indiana.
