Ada Belle Neeley

It is with sorrow that we report the passing of our Mother, Ada Belle (Comer) Neeley, on Sunday, January 23, 2011 at home in Ft. Wayne. She was born December 27, 1926 in Liberty Township (Swayzee), Grant County, Indiana to the late Merrill and Sylvia (Hite) Comer.
Ada graduated from Swayzee High School, Elkhart Business University, and the Indiana State Beauty School. She was a housewife, Beauty Operator, and Dental Assistant.
She married the love of her life, Harry Neeley, March 31, 1950 in Swayzee, Indiana. He passed away on their 49th wedding anniversary in 1999.
She attended the Chapel in Ft. Wayne, Indiana.
She leaves behind 4 children: Teresa (Bill) Waggoner, Kokomo; Roy (Joni) Neeley, Marion; Marcia Neeley (Al Lichtsinn), Ft. Wayne; and Beth (Frank) Rajcany, Ft. Wayne; sister, Betty Dickens, Goshen, Indiana; brothers, Joe (Susie) Comer, Swayzee, Indiana and Ben (Sue) Comer, Mesa, Arizona; grandchildren: Anna (Greg) Owens, and Abby Waggoner, Kokomo; Ryan (Melody) Waggoner, Muncie; Travis (Ashley) Neeley, United States Navy; Mandy Neeley, Marion; Veronica Lichtsinn, Hannah (Fiancee Garrett Denton) Lichtsinn, Jason Rajcany, Jesse Rajcany, and Alec Rajcany, all of Ft. Wayne; five great-grandchildren, Hailey, C.J., Annika, Rivers and Journey; and her dog and companion for many years, Wynnie Belle.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 28, at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, with the Pastor Mark Clough officiating.
Burial will be in Grant Memorial Park, Marion, Indiana.
Friends may call from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Thursday, January 27, and from noon to 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 28, at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312.
