Albert R. Lawson, age 88, of Marion, passed away Tuesday, October 14, 2014, at Wesleyan Health Care Center, Marion, Indiana.
Albert was born on February 24, 1926, in Breathitt County, Kentucky, the son of the late Asa and Lourain (Strong) Lawson. He married Ramona Gail Thomason, and she survives.
Albert worked at Harvey Construction until his retirement and loved to collect things.
Survivors include: wife, Ramona Gail Lawson of Marion, Indiana; two sisters, Irene Simpson of Jeffersonville, Kentucky and Lillian (John) Sherritts of Middletown, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 16, 2014, at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana, with Lou Adamson officiating.
Burial will be in Grant Memorial Park Cemetery, Marion, Indiana.
Friends may call from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 15, 2014, in the funeral home.
