Allie Deloras Brown, age 94, died a resident of Miller's Merry Manor, 505 N. Bradner Avenue, Marion, Indiana.
Allie was born January 3, 1918, the daughter of the late Albert C. and Emma B. (Lawrence) Johnson. On February 1, 1947, she married H. Kenneth Brown, and he preceded her in death on October 12, 1967. He was employed by Federal Electric Corporation and his employment resulted in the couple living in Ft. Wayne, Indiana, and the States of Alaska, Florida and New Jersey, where they enjoyed twenty (20) years of memorable marriage until his untimely death.
Allie was a devoted member of First Friends Church and the Golden Band Sunday School Class. She was previously employed by Crossley Motor Company, and the Marion Camera Shop.
Survivors include, her nephews, Stephen Johnson, Marion, Indiana; Dr. A. Cedric Johnson, Indianapolis, Indiana; David Johnson, Battlecreek, Michigan; and Neil Johnson, Fishers, Indiana.
She was also preceded in death by brothers, Stephen E. Johnson, A.C. "Bud" Johnson, George D. Johnson; sister, Mary Lizzie Motsch; and very loving and caring niece, Mary Lizzie Johnson.
Graveside rites will be held in the Chapel at Grant Memorial Park Cemetery, Marion, Indiana at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 12, 2012. Pastor Dane Leitch, of First Friends Church will be officiating.
