Andrew Alexander Sellers, the son of Susan, made his way to heaven on Wednesday, January 26, 2011, to be with those that preceded him and to await the beloved that he left here. In his place, he left us with lasting memories of eternal friendship, an undying loyalty to his family and those he held most dear, and a love that will last forever. While they will never replace him, the memories and love were a gift that will remain in our hearts forever.
Andrew was born January 18, 1982 to Susan Tucci, and was the proud brother of his younger sisters, Mary Solis and Ashley Sellers, and adoring uncle to Graciella. On June 17, 2010 his only child, a son named Jackson Alexander, was born to Andrew and special friend, Carolyn Hicks. Jackson will forever be the light of his father's eyes.
Andrew was a 2002 graduate of Marion High School. He enjoyed his work as a skilled tile setter, learned at the hands of his great-uncles and cousins, and concrete laborer.
Andrew was a true sports fan, loving the Colts and the Cubs through the good times and the bad, and spent many special moments with Jackson teaching him what it meant to be a fan of the game. He loved to fish, play tea party with his niece Graciella, and spend time with his family, who loved him dearly. He lived to laugh, to have good times, to comfort, and to love.
Andrew will also be forever loved by his aunts Linda (Thom) Rademaker and Veronica (James) Winstrom; his uncle Pride (Nancy) Solis; special family friend Debra Lee; and his cousins, April, Nicholas, Nolan, Adam, Aaron, Justin, and Leah. His family and friends will endeavor to live with the kind of love and laughter that he brought to each our lives.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Armando and Mary Solis.
Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 29, 2011, at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. with the Reverend Dr. Tom Mansbarger officiating. Burial will follow in Grant Memorial Park Cemetery in Marion.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Jackson Sellers Education Fund, in care of the funeral home.
