Annabell (Van Winkle) Schutte passed away in the early morning of January 15, 2017 at LifePath Hospice in Sun City Center, Florida at the age of 100.

She was born on August 21, 1916 to William R. Van Winkle and Hanna (Pence) Van Winkle in Marion, Indiana, the youngest of four daughters, all now deceased.

Annabell graduated Marion High School and subsequently embarked on a long, successful career with Standard Oil of Indiana beginning in Indianapolis, Indiana, moving to Detroit, Michigan and then Atlanta, Georgia.  Annabell achieved the Certified Public Secretary designation, similar in prestige to a CPA.  She and Bill Schutte were married and retired in Sun City Center, Florida.  She was an active swimmer and played many rounds of golf with her husband Bill.  They loved going to Churchill Downs especially the Kentucky Derby.  Bill passed away in February 1994.  She loved all kinds of board games, especially Mahjong and was a highly respected Bridge player!  A social person with many friends, Annabell was gifted with an alert, curious mind for all 100+ years.  She resided in Sun City Center for over 40 years.

Survivors include, nephew, Robert Meredith (Darlene); nephew, Edwin Van Hendey (Judy), and many great-nieces and nephews and long-time family friends.

Arrangements entrusted to Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.
