Anne E. (Nelson) Mcintosh

Anne E. McIntosh, age 81, of Marion, passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2016, in Marion General Hospital.
She was born on April 21, 1934, in Battle Creek, Michigan, the daughter of the late Gerald and Margaret (Wallace) Nelson. She was a caseworker for the Grant County Welfare Department for 28 years.
Anne enjoyed traveling to New York to see Broadway shows and enjoyed playing slots on the riverboats. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in downtown Marion.
Survivors include: sons, Kevin (Cyndi) McIntosh of Bloomington, IN and Phillip McIntosh of Greensboro, GA; grandchildren, Jamie McIntosh of Bloomington, IN, Rachel (Josh) Kastrinsky of Durham, N.C., Scott McIntosh of Chicago, Marissa McIntosh of Bloomington, IN, Sarah McIntosh of Bloomington, IN, Erin McIntosh of Boston, MA, Tara McIntosh of Nashville, TN, and Sean McIntosh of Athens, GA; and a special long-time friend, Joyce Rinker.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 9, 2016, at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, with Pastor Colleen Harden officiating.
Burial will be in Oakridge Cemetery, Marshall, MI on Monday, January 11, 2016 at 1:00 p.m.
Friends may call from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. ., Saturday, January 9, 2016, at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.
