Annie Lee Mckinley

Annie Lee McKinley, age 74, died at 6:24 a.m. Wednesday, November 11, 2009, at Marion General Hospital, Marion.

Annie was born on May 5, 1935, in Sand Mountain, Alabama, the daughter of the late Jasper and Ethel (Kirk) Evans. She married Robert McKinley November 6, 1969. He preceded her in death June 8, 2000.

She was an inspector at Foster Forbes for 25 years, retiring in 1992. During her retirement, she became a caregiver for the elderly.

She was a member of the Eagles Lodge #227 where she was an outside guard for the Ladies Auxiliary and was also a member of REACT. She was an avid Bingo player and loved to read and do jigsaw puzzles. She was loved by everyone .

Survivors include: son, Kevin Mills of Marion, Indiana; step-son, Charles McKinley of Greenfield, Indiana; daughters, Freda Cook (Steven) of Marion, Indiana, Debbie Lovelady (JR) of Marion, Indiana, Ruby Clymer (Dickie Sharron) of Gas City, Indiana; Patty Goff (Mark McGinnis) of Muncie, Indiana, and Dottie Smith (James Taylor) of Marion, Indiana; two brothers, Jesse Evans and Rob Evans (Patty), both of Plant City, Florida; two sisters, Elsie Carvin of Jonesboro, Indiana, and Margaret Wesling (Arnie) of Marion, Indiana; 14 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild; several nieces & nephews; and special friend, Betty Bradford.

She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Karen Sue Pulley, and a brother, Albert Evans.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 14, 2009, at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, with preachers Mark Kemple and Bruce Everett officiating.

Burial will be in LaFontaine I.O.O.F. Cemetery, LaFontaine, Indiana.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, November 13 at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.
