Barbara J. Taylor, age 65, of Marion, passed away Sunday, October 25, 2015 in Marion General Hospital.

Barbara was born on August 30, 1950, in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Guy Gravely and Marie (Hooper) Walker. She married Gary Taylor on February 11, 1983, and he survives. Barbara enjoyed gardening and fishing.

She is survived by her husband, Gary Taylor of Marion, Indiana; sister, Sheila (Jim) Smith of Marion, Indiana; grandmother, Goldie Hooper of Alabama; brother, Josh Gravely of Georgia; half-sisters, Jan Williams and Nancy Gravely of Georgia; step-son, Robert (Shannon) Taylor of Marion, Indiana; step-daughter, Trixy (Edwin) Morgan of Marion, Indiana; 3 grandchildren, Benjamin Taylor, Timothy William Morgan and Jessica Lynn Morgan; 7 great-grandchildren; brothers-in-laws, Fred (Katherine) Taylor of LaFontaine, Indiana, Dwight (Jean) Taylor of Tennessee, Roger Taylor of Tennessee and Marty (Cindy) Taylor of Jonesboro, Indiana; sister-in-law, Judy (Ron) Hone of Salisbury, N. Carolina; and several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by a sister, Robin Gravely; grandmother, Roberta Roan; grandfather, Claude Hooper; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, October 29, 2015, at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana with Jerry Galloway officiating.

Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 29, 2015, in the funeral home prior to funeral services.

Burial will follow funeral services in Marion National Cemetery, Marion, Indiana.
