Barbara E. Teegarden

Barbara E. Teegarden, born on September 17, 1940, in Marion, Indiana, passed away peacefully in her hometown on April 15, 2025. A cherished member of her community and family, Barbara dedicated a significant portion of her life to her career at Wagner Wire, where she was known for her hard work and commitment.

Barbara had a zest for life that manifested in her hobbies and interests. She found joy in the simple pleasures, such as "popping" bubble wrap and spent many happy days camping with her family. Her love extended to her four-legged companions, notably her dog Pete, who was a constant source of comfort and companionship throughout her life.

She leaves behind a loving family, including her sons Ed (Carol) Weaver, Michael Weaver, and Charlie (Ashley) Teegarden, as well as her stepdaughters Betty Rose and Billie Teegarden. Barbara was blessed with the affection of nineteen grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, all of whom were touched by her warmth and laughter.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence Fleming and Waletta Fleming, her daughter Kimberly Burnham, her daughter Jennifer Weaver, her son James Weaver and four siblings. She is also reunited with her beloved dog Riley.

Visitation will be held on April 21, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM. Both services will take place at the Raven Choate Robinson Funeral Home located at 1202 West Kem Road, Marion, Indiana, 46952.

Barbara E. Teegarden's memory will live on in the hearts of those she loved and who loved her in return. Her spirit, kindness, and infectious joy for life will be dearly missed.
