Bernetta Ann Hiland

Bernetta Ann Hiland, age 86, of Spring Hill, Florida, passed away peacefully at home with family on February 27, 2010 after battling a long illness.
She was born April 7, 1923, in Casey County, Kentucky, the daughter of the late George and Mary (Clements) Wethington. At age 20, she married Cleo Hiland on January 16, 1943. He preceded her in death on January 17, 2003.
Bernetta enjoyed spending time with her older sister, Edith (Wells) Frick who also preceded her in death. Bernetta was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved taking care of her family, card games with friends and family, bingo and dancing with her favorite dance partner, her husband. She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church in Marion.
Survivors include: three sons, David Hiland (Stephanie) of Marion, Indiana, Phillip Hiland of Marion, Indiana, and Paul Hiland of New Mexico; two daughters, Teresa Neal, and Susan Larimore, both of Springhill, Florida; 13 grandchildren & 7 great grandchildren.
Mass Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 5, 2010, at St Paul Catholic Church, 1009 Kem Road, Marion, with Father Richard Weisenberger officiating.
Burial will be in Gardens of Memory, Huntington County, Indiana.
Friends may call from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, March 4 and from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 5 at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.
