Betty A. (Davis) Kirkwood

Betty A. Kirkwood, age 89, of Marion, passed away Sunday, January 11, 2015, at Marion General Hospital, Marion, Indiana.
Betty was born December 16, 1925, in Marion, Indiana, the daughter of the late Wilbur and Esther (Cammack) Davis. She married Donald E. Kirkwood, and he preceded her in death on October 18, 1983.
Betty worked as a school librarian at Roseburg until her retirement. She was a member of Marion Friends Church. Betty enjoyed reading and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include: son, Joe Kirkwood of Schaumburg, Illinois; two daughters, Pam (Dan) Berry of Huntington, Indiana, and Sandy (Joe) Kramer of Navarre, Ohio; 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a brother Robert Truss.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 15, 2015, at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.
Burial will follow funeral services in Grant Memorial Park Cemetery, Marion, Indiana.
Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 15, in the funeral home prior to funeral services.
