BETTY JANE MARSHALL, age 82, of Colonial Oaks Health Care Center went to be with the Lord Saturday, October 25, 2008.
BETTY was born on January 8, 1926, in Marion, Indiana, the daughter of the late Addie L. Marshall and Grace Irene (Colligan) Marshall.
She was a graduate of Marion Community Schools in 1944. She attended Marion Business College for one year to be a secretary. She loved to cook and play Bingo.
She was a 59 year member of the Home Park Methodist Church and attended Sunnycrest Baptist Church and Faith Baptist Church. She was a 50+ year member of the Mississinewa O.E.S. Chapter 94 and also a member of the Marion Moose Lodge #251 and the Super Sixties at Sunnycrest Baptist Church.
Survivors include cousins, David & Phyllis Marshall and family of Marion, Indiana; Dana & Pam Gunyon and family of Marion, Indiana; Nancy Marshall of Marion, Indiana; Ron & Marsha Kline of Tennessee; and two adopted granddaughters, Dee Cragun of Marion, Indiana and Susan Cragun of Gas City, Indiana.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 29 at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, with Reverend Jeff Timmons officiating.
Burial will be in Estates of Serenity, Marion, Indiana.
Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until services on Wednesday, October 29 at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.
In lieu of flowers, the family sincerely requests that memorial contributions be made to Cancer Services of Grant County, 305 S. Norton Avenue, Tower Suites, Marion, Indiana 46952.
