BETTY JUNE, age 77, died on Wednesday, January 2, 2008, at Marion General Hospital, Indiana.
BETTY was born on March 7, 1930, in Rushville, Indiana, the daughter of the late George and Ressie (Hobbs) Anderson. She was the bride of WWII Veteran, Harry Otto Yeakle, married on April 28, 1945 in Connersville, Indiana. She formerly worked at Marion Community Schools, Vogel's Donut Shop and volunteered at the voter's polls for 52 years.
She was a member of Moose Lodge #253, the Amvets Post 5, and the Eagles, all of Marion. She loved playing Bingo, making crafts, dancing and listening to her musically-inclined family. She loved her husband, children and grandchildren. They were her life and her stone. She will be missed by the whole community, as most all knew Betty Yeakle.

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 5, 2008, at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, with the Reverend Mick Simpkins and Chaplain Mike Planck officiating. Burial will be in Estates of Serenity, Marion, Indiana.
