Billie E. Uncapher, age 65, of Marion, passed away Wednesday, May 9, 2012, at Elliot Hospital, in Manchester, New Hampshire.
Billie was born on August 15, 1946, in Connersville, Indiana, the son of the late Reverend Billie Uncapher and Berniece (Robbins) Uncapher. On September 18, 2004, he married Donna Hahn, and she survives.
He was a truck driver for D.R. Smith and was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He was a member of Lighthouse Assembly of God in Marion. Billie loved woodworking, making things, singing in the choir at Lighthouse Assembly of God, fishing, and spending time with his family. He never knew a stranger.
Survivors include: wife, Donna Uncapher of Marion, Indiana; two sons, Brian Uncapher Hudson of Waco, Texas, Keith Uncapher Hudson of Richmond, Virginia; step-son, Kirk (Kimberly) Heyde of Van Buren, Indiana; two step-daughters, Stacey (Tom) Kellam of Liberty Center, Indiana, Christal Bromfield of Upland, Indiana; three brothers, John (Missy) Uncapher of Haleyville, Alabama, Jonathan (Marie) Uncapher of Arley, Alabama, Stephen (Beth) Uncapher of Middleburg, Pennsylvania; four sisters, Eunice Uncapher of Hartford City, Indiana, Rebecca Ruth (Todd) Burcroff of Gas City, Indiana, Naomi Elaine (Dan) Richard of Casper, Wyoming, Judith (Terry) Atnip of Lander, Wyoming; special sister-in-law, Kathleen (Lee) Spray of Waco, Texas; grandchildren, Sarah Bromfield of Upland, Indiana, Tristan Heyde of Van Buren, Indiana, Chad Gerdes, Florida, Eric (Sherri) Gerdes of Huntington, Indiana, Ryan (Suzzanne) Kellam of Anderson, Indiana, Colton Kellam of Liberty Center, Indiana; several more grandchildren, his special Dachshund "Little Girl; and several nieces & nephews.
He was preceded in death by brothers, Valentine Daniel Uncapher, David J. Uncapher and Samuel Uncapher.
Funeral Services will be held at Noon Saturday, May 19, 2012, at Lighthouse Assembly of God, with the Pastor Jerry Gallaway officiating.
