Blanche I. Marley, age 74, of Marion, passed away Thursday, October 9, 2014, in her home.
Blanche was born January 19, 1940, in Grant County, Indiana, the daughter of the late Luther and Laura (Adams) Hiles. She married Francis "Don" Marley on November 5, 1983, and he survives.
She was a janitor at Thompson Consumer Electronics until her retirement. Blanche was a member of Roseburg Church of God. She enjoyed watching TV, listening to gospel music and spending time with her family.
Survivors include: husband, Don Marley of Marion, Indiana; two sons, Donald (Margit Hanni) Marley of North Carolina, and Jack (Teri) Marley of Cartersville, Georgia; four daughters, Angela (Martin) Mounsey of Van Buren, Indiana, Gail Ann (Bill) Davis of Gas City, Indiana, MeLisa (Steven) Dunnagan of Wabash, Indiana, and DeAnna "Dee Dee" (Dave) Kelly of Plymouth, Indiana; brother, John A. Hiles of Tipton, Indiana; sister, Osie Carrier of Cynthiana, Kentucky; sisters-in-law, Janice Jones of Fairmount, Indiana, Darlene Garrett of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, and Marilyn Cloud of Columbia City, Indiana; 12 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Phillip Hiles and George W. Hiles; two sisters, Marjorie Barker and Ruth Belcher; brothers-in-law, Bobby Marley and Jack Marley; and sisters-in-law, Carol Belcher, Patty Thurman and Lucile Purvis.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 13, 2014, at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana with Pastor Bill Fulda officiating.
Burial will follow services in Riverside Cemetery, Gas City, Indiana.
Friends may call from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. Sunday, October 12, 2014, in Raven-Choate Funeral Home.
