Bobby Lee Stratton, age 78, passed away Sunday, June 15, 2014, in Heber Springs, Arkansas.
Bobby was born October 28, 1935, in Kennett, Missouri, the son of the late Jodie Lee and Mary Pauline (Cauble) Stratton. He married Janice Boller in 1964, and she survives.
Bobby enlisted in the U.S. Navy at the age of 17 and served until 1956. He retired from General Motors in Marion in 1988. He and his wife Janice have lived in Arkansas for the past 25 years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a member of Cleburne County Baptist Church in Arkansas.
Survivors include his wife, Janice Stratton of Herber Springs, Arkansas; son, Randy L. Stratton of Fishers, Indiana; step-daughter, Robin L. Krogman of Kemah, Texas; sister, Joann (Jim) Ellet of Marion, Indiana; and grandchildren, Tyler Stratton of Indianapolis, Indiana, April Scott of Richmond, Indiana, Madison & Lily Stratton of Fishers, Indiana, and Matthew Krogman of Kemah, Texas.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 20, 2014, at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.
Entombment will be in Gardens of Memory, Marion (Huntington County), Indiana following funeral services.
Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, June 19, in the funeral home.
