Bonnie S. Anderson, age 88, of Marion, passed away Sunday, January 3, 2016 in her home.
Bonnie was born July 8, 1927 in Big Spring, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Cleatus and Fannie (Bonine) Hickman. She married George L. Anderson, Sr. on November 1, 1947, and he preceded her in death on October 29, 1999.
Bonnie worked at Foster Forbes for 21 years until her retirement in 1987. She was a member of the Emmanuel Free Will Baptist Church in Wabash, Indiana.
She is survived by a son, Larry (Angela) Anderson of Marion, Indiana; two brothers, Johnnie (Beatrice) Hickman of Hicksville, Ohio, and Dean (Willie May) Hickman of Gordonsville, Tennessee; granddaughter, Shanna (Richard) Tanner of Greenwood, Indiana; and three great-grandchildren, Shelby, Ben and JackTanner.
She was also preceded in death by 3 brothers and 4 sisters.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 8, 2016, in Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana with Pastor Terry Hinds officiating.
Burial will take place immediately following funeral services in Gardens of Memory, Huntington County, Indiana.
Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 8, in the funeral home prior to funeral services.
