Brenda K. Morrow, age 61, passed away November 17, 2011, in her home. Jesus took her home after her courageous battle with lung cancer for over a year.
Brenda was born on July 16, 1950, in Logansport, Indiana, the daughter of the late John Paul and Mary Alice (Huffman) Snyder. She married Philip Morrow on June 23, 1995, and he survives.
Brenda worked for the USDA Rural Development for 26 years until her retirement. She also worked the past 2 1/2 years, for the Grant County Soil and Water Conversation District, and the Grant County Drainage Board.
She enjoyed car shows, attending Mt. Olive United Methodist Church, and going to craft shows.
Survivors include: husband, Philip Morrow of Marion, Indiana; daughter, Kimberly Isaak of Indianapolis, Indiana; two step-sons, Jeffrey (Julie) Morrow of Marion, Indiana, and James Morrow of Santa Monica, California; two granddaughters, Ashley Kate and Deborah Morrow; and her cat, Abby.
Funeral Services will be held at 5:00 p.m. Saturday, November 19, 2011, at the Mt. Olive United Methodist Church, 2015 N. 300 West, Marion, Indiana, 46952, with Reverend Steven Walker officiating.
Friends may call from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. Saturday, November 19, 2011 at the church prior to funeral services.
Following funeral services, Brenda's body is being donated to the IUPUI Anatomical Education Program for research.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Ronald McDonald House; or to Riley Hospital for Children.
