CAROL J. JACKS, age 67, of Marion, went to be with her Lord on Friday, December 10, 2010.
CAROL was born on February 9, 1943, in Vigo County, Indiana, the daughter of the late Edwin and Mae (Brockmeier) Caplinger.
She was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church. Carol enjoyed cooking out, camping and fishing.
Carol leaves behind her husband of 40 years, Donald Jacks, daughters, Sherry Martin and Christy Tait (Richard) both of Marion; step-son, Gary Belcher (Shirley) of Marion; grandchildren, Lee Martin, Austin Burton, and Stephanie Swafford; great-grandchildren, Alise, Devin, and Gavin; her dog "Sparky"; brothers, Allen Caplinger (Barbara) of Alexandria, Larry Lee Caplinger (Carol) of Chesterfield, Dennis Caplinger (Cindy) of Marion, and Jim Caplinger (Belinda) of Indianapolis; sisters, Ella Rose Roberts (Larry) of Anderson, Vivian Hall (Gene) of Anderson, and Terri Hogan (Cecil) of Marion.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 14, 2010, at the Lighthouse Baptist Church, 2445 West Kem Road, Marion, Indiana, with Pastor Ronald A. Hon officiating.
Burial will be in Grant Memorial Park, Marion, Indiana.
Friends may call from 6 - 8 p.m. Monday, December 13 at the Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana, and 10 a.m. until the time of service Tuesday, at the Church.
Carol's family extends their deepest appreciation to Premier Hospice and Home Health.
