Catherine V. Arbaugh

Catherine V. Arbaugh, age 103, passed away at 9:06 p.m. Monday, July 23, 2012, in her home at Suite Living.
Catherine was born on October 28, 1908, in Louisville, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Frank Joseph and Margaret (Silliman) Ott. She was a homemaker. Catherine moved to Marion, Indiana upon her marriage in 1933 to Stanley Houk, and he preceded her in death in 1942. She then married Harold Shaffer in 1948, and he preceded her in death in 1963. She married her third husband, Charles Wade Arbaugh in 1973, and he preceded her in death in 1988.
Catherine was a member of the First United Methodist Church; Psi Iota XI Sorority; YWCA; and the Hostess House.
Survivors include: three daughters, Cecile Enochs (Stanley) of Marion, Indiana, Rosemary Glessner (Bill) of Swayzee, Indiana, and Sally Poehler (Floyd) of San Diego, California; grandchildren, Scott Enochs (Kim), Tom Enochs (Michelle), Chris Fryback, Laura Needler (Bill), Kathleen Wood (Brian), Rachael Beck (Noah), Gretchen Broman (Michael), and Tristan Poehler; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one grandson, Jeff Enochs, and one great-grandson, Jacob Enochs.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 30, 2012, at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana with Reverend Steven Walker officiating.
Burial will be in Grant Memorial Park Cemetery, Marion, Indiana.
Friends may call from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m., Sunday, July 29, 2012 in the funeral home.
