Catherine J. "Joey" (Roberts) Kruis, age 42, died at 1:07 p.m. Wednesday, May 26, 2010, in her residence.
Joey was born on December 4, 1967, in Marion, Indiana, the daughter of the late Ralph and Onie (Coffey) Roberts.
She worked as a clerk at Sunoco Gas. Joey attended the Lydia Baptist Church. She enjoyed playing games on the computer, was a devoted Mother and loved spending time with her granddaughter.
Survivors include, fiance', Mickey Jones of Marion, Indiana; son, Eric Kruis of Marion, Indiana; two daughters, Jessica (Kruis) Wickersham (Cody) of Marion, Indiana, and Jennifer Kruis of Mishawaka, Indiana; brother, Tom Roberts (Karen) of Marion, Indiana; six sisters, Debbie Highley (Terry) of Owingsville, Kentucky, Brenda Lucas of Owingsville, Kentucky, Trina Orme (Hap) of Marion, Indiana, Mary Hairell (Kevin) of Marion, Indiana, Jackie Hanthorn (Brian) of Marion, Indiana, and Dorothy Roberts of Marion, Indiana; and granddaughter, Mikenzie Chambers.
Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 29, 2010, at Raven-Choate Funeral Home with Reverend Gary Dalton officiating.
Burial will be in Gardens of Memory, Huntington County, Indiana.
Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until services on Saturday, May 29 at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the family in care of Raven-Choate Funeral Home.
