Celia Olive (Ollie) Butts

Celia Olive (Ollie) Butts, age 92, formerly of Marion, passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2011, in Manassas, Virginia.
Celia was born on April 18, 1919, in Terre Haute, Indiana, the daughter of the late Charles and Laura (Pruett) Lawson. She married Russell Butts on December 24, 1935, and he preceded her in death on May 2, 1992.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Unity Christian Church.
Survivors include: daughters, Linda (David) Posey of Dumfries, Virginia, and Judith (Arvie) Cooley of Fairmount; four sons, Dennis (Deborah) Butts of Marion, Don (Denise) Butts of Marion, Tom (Sally) Butts of Newport, Tennessee, and Mike (Julie) Butts of Noblesville; 14 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by son, Jerry Butts, and 10 brothers and sisters.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday August 12, 2011, at the Unity Christian Church, 140 Pennsylvania Street, Marion, Indiana.
Burial will be in Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Huntington County, Indiana.
Friends may call from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, August 11, at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana, and one hour prior to services on Friday at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Unity Christian Church, or the charity of your choice.
