Charles David Daniels

Charles David Daniels, age 67, of Sweetser, passed away Tuesday, September 11, 2012, at Parkview Hospital, Ft. Wayne, Indiana.
David was born on August 14, 1945, in Van Lear, Kentucky, the son of the late Russell and Dorothy (Brown) Daniels. On June 11, 1983, he married Barbara Moore, and she survives.
He was a supervisor at Ford Meter Box for 47 years until his retirement. David enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting, fishing and his cb radio.
Survivors include: wife, Barbara J. Daniels; two sisters, Alice Margaret (Paul) Hanke, and Eilzabeth I. Vossler; two brothers, John R. (Marilyn) Daniels, and William Thomas (Lynn) Daniels; six sons, Michael D. (Robin) Daniels, Mark D. Daniels, Matthew D. Daniels, Leroy D. Barber, Dale A. Barber, and Tracy J. (Patricia) Barber; five daughters, Marlene D. (Robert) Falco, Kerry A. (Michael) Peel, Jennifer L. (Michael) Purvis, Julienne C. Barber, and Birgit Davis; 41 grandchildren & 30 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Dorothy Daniels, and a brother, Russell Daniels.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 15, 2012, at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana. Cremation will follow.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Saturday, September 15, 2012, in the funeral home prior to services.
