Charles R. (Randy) Hodge

Charles R. (Randy) Hodge passed on to his eternal home on Friday, March 12, 2021 at Marion General Hospital after a sudden injury.

He was born on December 21, 1951 in Marion, Indiana to the late Charles H. (Charlie) Hodge and Rebecca J. (Becky) Hodge.  She survives along with his son, Lance (Lily) Hodge; brother, Brian (Barb) Hodge; and sister, Sue (John) Small.  Additional survivors include nephews, Adam (Gladys) Hodge and Stuart (Jenn) Hodge; niece, Ashley (Dave Sanders) Motia; several cousins, and many friends.

Randy graduated from Marion High School in 1969 and took classes at the then Marion College.  Shortly after, he began a career with Dana Corporation in Syracuse, Indiana where he continued to work until their closure.  Then he continued his career with Dana in Lima, Ohio until his retirement.  Randy thrived in the Lake Webster/Tippecanoe area.  He enjoyed spending time at his Dad's home on Lake Webster, watching NASCAR, IU Basketball, golf and was an avid Indianapolis Colts fan.  He attended the Marion First Friends Church.

In the last years of Randy's life he diligently watched over his mother in her home so that she could remain there.  She will miss him dearly.

Friends and family may call from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 W. Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.  Funeral services will begin at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Dwight Elliott  and Pastor Pete Frank officiating.

Health precautions for the safety of the family and visitors will include wearing face coverings and social distancing.
