Charles E. Ihrie

Charles E. "Chuck" Ihrie, age 80, of Van Buren, passed away Sunday, March 3, 2013, at home.
Chuck was born on July 12, 1932, in Garrett, Indiana, the son of the late Charles and Martha (Klingler) Ihrie. He married Jacky Mason in 1972, and she survives.
Chuck was a graduate of Bryan High School in Bryan, Ohio and a U.S. Army veteran.
He was a life member of the V.F.W., and the Amvets. He was also a member of the Jonesboro Masonic Lodge and a past member of the American Legion. Chuck loved to perform magic.
Survivors include: wife, Jacky Ihrie of Van Buren, Indiana.
He was also preceded in death by s sister, Charlotte Truelove.
Funeral Services with Masonic rites will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 7, 2013, at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana with Pastor Jeff Slater officiating.
Burial with military honors will follow in Jones Cemetery, Warren, Indiana.
Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 7, 2013, prior to services at the funeral home.
