Christopher G. Fensome

Christopher G. "Chris" Fensome, age 58, of Marion, passed away at 7:53 p.m. Monday, July 25, 2011, at the Indiana University Health Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis, Indiana.

Chris was born on January 19, 1953, in Luton, England, the son of the late Alfred and Margaret Fensome. He married Natalie Kidwell and she survives.

Chris worked in the deli department at Meijer in Marion. He had previously served in the Special Air Services in England.

He was a member of the Faith Apostolic Church. Chris loved spending time with his grandchildren and family. He enjoyed music, computer games and activities at his church. Chris especially loved his two dogs, Bruno and Whitney.

Survivors include: wife, Natalie Fensome of Marion, Indiana; two sons, Carl Loftis III (Debra), and AJ Kidwell (Cristina); brother-in-law, Rob Kidwell; mother-in-law, Judy Berry (Larry); father-in-law, Bob Kidwell (Sandy); aunts, Diane Sailors, Leona Gray (John), Marilyn Kilgore (Mark), Karen Tibbets and Dottie Howell (Bo); uncle, Chuck Kidwell (Phyllis); grandchildren, Jacob, Joseph "Bo", Lilly & Mallory; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and grandmother, Hazel Sailors.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 30, 2011, at the Faith Apostolic Church, 902 W. 16th. Street, Marion, Indiana, with the Reverend Clarence Hand officiating.

Burial will be in Grant Memorial Park, Marion, Indiana.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 29, 2011, at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Grant County Humane Society, 505 S. Miller Avenue, Marion, Indiana 46952.
