Christopher D. King, age 47 passed away Thursday, April 18, 2013 in Upland, Indiana.
Christopher was born on May 22, 1965 in Marion, Indiana to Thomas R. King and Patricia Hale and they survive. He was a graduate of Eastbrook High School.
He worked as a factory laborer for True Form in Hartford City, Indiana and was a United States Marine Veteran. Christopher enjoyed computers, fishing, hunting, and farming.
Survivors include: his father Thomas King of Upland, Indiana; mother, Patricia Hale of Upland, Indiana; son, Anthony D. Fitch of Marion, Indiana; 5 brothers and sisters, Randall M. (Lori) King of Upland, Indiana, Melanie (David) Gandee of Marion, Indiana, Rodney A. Hale of Marion, Indiana, Dondra (Roger) Workman of Marion, Indiana, and Trisha Hicks of Marion, Indiana; 7 nieces and nephews, Travis Mathias, Mark A. Webb, Adam Webb, Adrianne Webb, Kayden Hale, Ashley Wogerman, and Edward Williams; and several great nieces and nephews. Also surviving is a cousin, Linda Horn and a special friend, Delinda Davis.
He was also preceded in death by his step-father Buddie A. Hale; maternal grandparents, Joseph C. (Ruth) Horner and Alice E. Horner; uncle Robert Horner; and aunt Linda Horner.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. in the Marion National Cemetery, Marion, Indiana with Pastor Tom Mansbarger officiating.
