Cindy S. Goodpaster

Cindy S. Goodpaster, age 65, passed away in Lutheran Hospital, on June 19, 2024.  She was born April 30, 1959, in Marion to the late Joseph R.  and

Lena M (Everman) Goodpaster.

Cindy was affiliated with several churches in Marion. She worked at Wal-Mart as a cashier for close to 30 years. In her free time, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed music, movies and going to the park. One of her favorite things to do was eat at IHOP and drinking Pepsi. Cindy was a kind, sweet, loving person and she will be dearly missed.

Survivors include her brother Steve Herring of Marion, one nephew: William “Will” (Sheba) Herring of Fort Wayne, her best friend since high school (50 plus years): Rhonda (Lee) Fannin, God nieces: Nicole Klein of Logansport and Megan Ratliff of Crawfordsville, her closest cousin since childhood: Terri Everman Juarez of Noblesville, along with several other loving cousins, wonderful friends and co-workers.

Private graveside services were held Friday June 21, 2024, at Estates of Serenity Cemetery, Marion. Chaplain Bill Sparks officiated. Services were entrusted to Raven Choate Robinson Funeral Home, Marion.
