CLAUDE F. GETMAN, age 84, died Wednesday, March 5, 2008, at his home in Ballwin, Missouri.
CLAUDE was born on January 27, 1924, in Celina, Ohio, the son of the late Claude T. and Goldia May (Swathwood) Getman. He married Freda Coppock. She survives.
CLAUDE owned and operated the Getman Building Center in Jonesboro, Indiana until his retirement in 1989. The Getmans moved to Ballwin, Missouri in 2005.
He is survived in life by his wife of 63 1/2 years, Freda (Coppock) Getman of Ballwin, Missouri; daughter, Debbie Bragg and her husband Ed of Ballwin, Missouri; brother, William Getman of Marion, Indiana; sister-in-law, Ruth Getman of Ohio; 3 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces and a host of friends.
He was also preceded in death by a brother, James Getman.
Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 12, 2008, at Raven-Choate Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Estates of Serenity, Marion, Indiana.
