CLENNA J. HAMAKER, age 85, of Marion, died at 7:50 a.m. Monday, March 15, 2010, at Wesleyan Health & Rehabilitation Center, Marion.
She was born on June 22, 1924, in Marion, Indiana, the daughter of the late Wade and Madge (Detamore) Endsley. She married John Frederick Hamaker in June of 1952, and he preceded her in death on April 20, 2006.
Clenna was a secretary for the Marion Community School System for many years. She loved animals, but especially loved cats.
Survivors include: son, Jon Anthony "Tony" Hamaker (Barbara) of Marion, Indiana; two grandchildren, John Michael Hamaker of Bloomington, Indiana, and Jessica Bisesi Ordonez (Milton) of Pasadena, California; and several nieces & nephews.
She was also preceded in death by 10 brothers and sisters.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 18, at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, with Reverend Tom Mansbarger officiating.
Burial will be in Grant Memorial Park, Marion, Indiana.
Friends may call from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 17 at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.
