Comer A. Bilbrey

COMER A BILBREY, age 85, died on Saturday, October 16, 2010, at Wabash County Hospital, Wabash.

COMER was born on June 19, 1925, in Overton, Tennessee, the son of the late James and Mary Bilbrey. On December 29, 1956, he married Irene Bilbrey in Ingalls, Indiana.

He was a Press operator at Fisher Body for 31 years, retiring in 1986. He served in the Navy during WWII.

Comer was a member of the GM Sympathy Club. He loved to play cards and read, especially westerns. He devoted his life to working hard for his family and children who were his world.

Survivors include: Wife, Irene Bilbrey of Marion, Sons, Earl Franks (Donna) of Marion, Don Franks (Kathy) of Linton, Indiana, and Jay Bilbrey of Marion, Daughter, Tamara Rish of Roann, Indiana, Brother, Joe Bilbrey (Joe Anne) of Lafontaine, 22 Grandchildren & Numerous Great Grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by a Son, Paul Franks, a Brother, Estel Bilbrey and his sister, Lillie Saur.

Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, October 21, 2010, at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, with the Reverend Doug Phillips officiating.

Burial with military honors will be in Gardens of Memory, Huntington County, Indiana.

Friends may call from 5 - 8 p.m., Wednesday, October 20 at the Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.
