CONNIE J POPE, age 64, died on Thursday, August 14, 2008, at Community North Hospital, Indianapolis.
CONNIE was born on October 20, 1943, in Winchester, In, the Daughter of Elvin Rector and Norma (Fisher) Rector. On Jul 3, 1965, She married Jerry Pope, who preceded her in death on April 24, 2004.
She was a Teachers Aide for Marion Community Schools, sold Mary Kay for many years, worked for Foster Forbes Credit Union, Marion City Employees Credit Union, and was a tax preparer for H and R Block.
She was a member of Land of Lakes First United Methodist Church, Land of Lakes, Florida, the Gideons Auxillary, and was a huge Colts fan.
Survivors include Mother, Norma Rector (Chenoweth) of Marion, IN, Son, Tracy Pope (Jennifer) of Fishers, IN, Daughter, Wendy Ulam (Steven) of Indianapolis, IN, Step-Daughter, Jennifer Braggers of California Step-Daughter, Jill Schvaneveldt (Matt) of Cathedral City, CA, Step-Daughter, Elizabeth Tipton (Dan) of Palm Springs, CA, 11 Grandchildren, .
In addition to her husband, Jerry, She was preceded in death by Father, Elvin Rector, Step Father, Howard Chenoweth.
Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, August 18, 2008, at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, with the Rev. John Hackney officiating.
Burial will be in Estates of Serenity, Marion, Indiana .
