Dale E. Sachse, age 64, passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2014, at Hospice Home, Ft. Wayne, Indiana.
Dale was born November 18, 1949, in Marion, Indiana, the son of the late Phillip and Velma (Haynes) Sachse. He married Ginger Fults on October 7, 1972, and she survives.
He worked in production at General Tire for 27 years until his retirement. He was a lifetime member of the N.R.A. Dale was a history enthusiast, a pilot and enjoyed flying.
He is survived by his wife, Ginger Sachse of Marion, Indiana; son, John Sachse of Marion, Indiana; daughter, Emily (Erik) Garay of Madison, Alabama; niece, Cheryl Small of Florida; great-niece, Vanessa Small of Florida; great-nephew, Vince (Debbie) Small of Florida; great-great nephew, Charlie Small of Florida; several cousins; and his dogs, Lucy, J.R. and Phoebe.
Funeral Services will be held at Noon, Saturday, April 26, 2014, at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana with Pastor Dan Van Cise officiating.
Burial will follow funeral services in Grant Memorial Park Cemetery, Marion, Indiana.
Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until services at noon, on Saturday, April 26, in the funeral home.
