Danny Fields, age 66, of Marion, passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at Community Howard Regional Health in Kokomo, Indiana.
Danny was born on November 12, 1946 in Hazard, Kentucky, the son of the late Ardale and Lola (Parker) Fields. He married Carolyn Marcum on July 9, 1968, and she survives.
He was a forklift driver at Foster Forbes/St. Gobain Glass Factory until his retirement. Danny loved bowling, basketball, baseball, fishing, and was an avid Reds fan.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Fields of Marion; three sons, Danny Fields, Jr. (Debra) of Marion, Eric Fields (Kalyn) of Marion, and Gregory Fields of Huntington; two daughters, Shannon Fields-Smith of Greentown and Danielle Fields of Marion; brother, Larry Fields of Kentucky; sisters, Ethel and Bertha of Kentucky; three grandchildren, Andrea Smith, Andrew Smith and Alexis Fields; step-grandchildren, Josh and Dustin Tighe; and several nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by four sisters, Juanita, Nancy , Lois and Arnetta.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana with Pastor Eric Roemer and Honorary Speaker Ray Penninger officiating .
Burial will follow in Grant Memorial Park Cemetery, Marion, Indiana.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at Raven-Choate Funeral Home.
