Darl Edward Wright, age 48, passed away Friday, May 18, 2012, in his home.

Darl was born on January 20, 1964, in Marion, Indiana, the son of the late James Wright and Beatrice (Haun) Baker. His mother survives.

He was certified in appliance repair and HVAC, enjoyed working on model cars, boats and trains, was a military and World of War Craft buff, and enjoyed canoeing, biking, camping and hiking.

Survivors include: mother & step-father, Beatrice (Norman) Baker of Marion, Indiana; four daughters, Ashleigh Wright (Gabe Neil) of Florida, Kelsey Jo Wright of Corpus Christi, Texas, Jina Wright of Texas, and Julie Wright of Texas; brother, Mark Anthony Wright of Oklahoma; three sisters, Tina (Phil) Tegarden of Upland, Indiana, Winter Baker (Adam Holt) of Van Buren, Indiana, and Summer Baker of Van Buren, Indiana; granddaughter, Gabbi Wright of Florida; special nephew, Ian Robbins of Marion, Indiana; and his special German Shepherd, Samson.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Wright, and sister, Sunday Lee Baker.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 23, 2012, at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, with the Reverend Tom Mansbarger officiating.

Burial will be in Park Cemetery, Fairmount, Indiana.

Friends may call from noon until services at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 23, 2012, at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.
