David D. Kerr, age 70, passed away Sunday, May 31, 2015, at Miller's Merry Manor, Marion, Indiana.
David was born October 14, 1944, in Damascus, Ohio, the son of the late Clifford and Elma (Mather) Kerr. He married Paula Boyer on June 15, 2007, and she survives. He worked in production at Ball Foster until his retirement.
He was a member of Grace Community Church where he loved doing the sound for services. He enjoyed construction, building homes and fishing. He met his wife Paula at the mall during the walking club.
Survivors include: wife, Paula Kerr of Marion, Indiana; two sons, Ryan (Angie) Kerr of Anderson, Indiana, and Aaron Kerr of Van Buren, Indiana; step-son, Robert Parker of Kalamazoo, Michigan; daughter, Maria (Phillip) Jennings of Rigdon, Indiana; two brothers, Kenny (Garri) Kerr of Damascus, Ohio, and Frank (Eileen) Kerr of Carolton, Ohio; three sisters, Linda (Dave) Peterson of Damascus, Ohio, Kathleen (Chris) Hannah of Canada, and Florence Ferguson of Virginia; mother and father-in-law, Robert & Mary Ann Boyer of Marion, Indiana; 8 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Memorial Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 6, 2015, at Grace Community Church, 1810 E. Bradford Pike, Marion, Indiana, with Rev. Dr. Tom Mansbarger officiating.
There will be no visitation. Arrangements entrusted to Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.
