DAVID L. WILSON, age 51, of Marion, died at 2:20 p.m. Thursday, June 11, 2009, at home.
He was born on August 1, 1957, in Marion, Indiana, the son of the late Merrell R. Wilson and Sue Anna (Dehne) Wilson. She survives.
He was a member of the Roseburg Church of God where he was very active in Sunday School and the Men's Fellowship. He was also active in the Marion Easter Pageant.
Survivors include mother, Sue Anna Wilson of Swayzee, Indiana; sisters, Melanie Holland (Duane) of Marion, Indiana; and Jayne Wilson (David Draper) of Jonesboro, Indiana; 2 nieces, 1 nephew, 1 great-nephew; and special friend, Leo Hall of Marion, Indiana.
He was preceded in death by his father, Merrell R. Wilson, a sister, Melinda "Mindy" Gause, and brother, William Wilson.
Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 15, 2009, at Roseburg Church of God, 2057 S. Roseburg Pike, Marion, Indiana with the Reverend Paul Tomlinson officiating.
Burial will be at a later date in Estates of Serenity Cemetery, Marion, Indiana.
