David Bryan Yeager

David "Dave" Bryan Yeager, age 75, of Marion, passed away Saturday, March 24, 2012, at Marion General Hospital, Marion, Indiana.
Dave was born on December 20, 1936, in Marion, Indiana, the son of the late Oscar and Delphine (Cottrell) Yeager. He married Sandy Yeakle on July 4, 1962, and she survives. Together, they shared more than 49 years of marriage, and on July 4, 2012 would be celebrating their 50th Wedding Anniversary.
He worked as a union brick mason until his retirement and was a volunteer fireman for Center Township for 25 years. He loved working on lawn mowers, was a member of the Grand 11 CB Club, where he was known as "Speedy". He enjoyed watching NASCAR and loved rebuilding player pianos and always enjoyed spending time with Uncle Harry on the Festival Wagon. Dave enjoyed spending time with his family and hanging out with his buddies at the coffee shop.
Survivors include: wife, Sandra "Sandy" Yeager of Marion, Indiana; two sons, Brian (Debbie) Yeager of Ligonier, Indiana and Robert "Bobby" Yeager of Marion, Indiana; two daughters, Linda (Mike) Johns of Jonesboro, Indiana and Teresa (Allen) Bockover of Marion, Indiana; brother, Edward (Rita) Yeager of Marion, Indiana; sister, Virginia "Judy" Blackburn of Marion, Indiana; grandchildren, Nikki (Veronica) Yeager, Kayla (Harry) Underwood, Lisa (Henry) Reed, Aubrey (Ross) Davis, Kendra (Cameron) Yeager, Dustin Bockover, Cassie Yeager, and Paige Bockover, great-grandchildren, Devyn Underwood, Caleb Rigney, Christia Percy, Cameron Percy, Destiny Reed, Chloe Underwood, Cobain Elkins, Terry Elkins, Danyael Perkins, Melina Buckler, Isabela Buckler and one on the way; and many nieces & nephews.
He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Alfred Yeager and Oscar Yeager, Jr., and two sisters, ZandraYeager Smith and Louise Rennaker.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 30, 2012, at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, with Reverend Tom Mansbarger officiating.
Burial will be in Estates of Serenity, Marion, Indiana.
