Delores VanPatten, age 79, passed away Saturday, March 1, 2014, at Marion General Hospital, Marion.
Delores was born August 10, 1934, in Peru, Indiana, the daughter of the late Samuel and Ruth (Easterday) Raymer. She married William M. VanPatten, and he preceded her in death.
Delores enjoyed playing BINGO and spending time with her family.
Survivors include: three sons, Richard David (Donna) Alvarado, Gregory Eugene (Linda) Fuller, and Allen LeRoy (Sheila) Peterson; two daughters, Patty A. (Chuck) Owen and Tonja Marie Stolz; 9 grandchildren, Chad, Delores (Dan), Kaleena, Charles, Shelby, Kaylie, Stevie, Allie and Tanner; and 9 great-grandchildren, Wrisley, Jalen, Evelyn, Cheyenne, Greg, Cali, Dayton, Trayce and Kameren.
She was also preceded in death by 2 grandchildren, Alicia Alvarado and Gregory Fuller, Jr.; brother, Marvin LeRoy Raymer; and two sisters, Nancy Jane Mathias and Naomi Ruth Raymer.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, March 6, 2014, at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana with Reverend Mark Atkinson officiating.
Burial will follow funeral services in Enterprise Cemetery, Roann, Indiana.
Friends may call from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 5, 2014, in the funeral home.
