Diana "Sue" Holmes, age 57, of Marion, passed away Wednesday, September 30, 2015 in her home.
Sue was born December 1, 1957 in Marion, Indiana to the late Jessie King, Sr and Audrey (Adair) King.
She married Buzz Holmes on November 27, 1992, and he survives.
Sue enjoyed camping, fishing, playing Bingo and family get-togethers. She loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband, Buzz Holmes of Marion; sons, Harold Smith, Jr. of Marion, Joseph Smith of Marion and step-son, Kraig Holmes (Ashlee) of Fairmount; daughter, Brenda (Larry) Dudding of Marion; step-daughter, Ashlee Holmes; brother, Gale King (Edith) of Marion; sisters, Linda (Elza) Headley of Jonesboro, Brenda (Clyde) Riddle of Marion, and Theresa (Johhny) Anderson of Florida; 10 grandchildren; 2 step grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; special nephew, Ricky King; and her dog, "Bella". She was also guardian to her niece, Taresa Anderson and nephew, Dustin Anderson.
She was also preceded in death by brothers, James McDaniel and Jessie King, Jr.; Jerry Brown; and grandson, Harold Smith, III.
Funeral Services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana with Reverend Tom Mansbarger officiating.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 6 in the funeral home prior to funeral services.
