Dianna L (Palmer) Murphy

Dianna L. Murphy, December 9, 1948 – June 29, 2024

Dianna passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 29, 2024 at Marion Health Hospital.

She was born to the late Evaline “Judy” Palmer and Hallie Palmer, Marion Indiana. Dianna was a graduate of Mississinewa High School. She was an Insurance Specialist with Marion Surgeons, Inc., until retirement. She resided in Gas City, Indiana.

Dianna is survived by her son, James Andrew “Andy” (Kim) Murphy, Marion; sister, Cheryl (Steven) Wonderly, Clearwater, FL; brother, Larry (Linda) Palmer, Harrisburg, PA; beloved grandchildren Marah Murphy (Luke), Ft. Wayne, IN; Conner Murphy (Heidi), Jonesboro, IN; and her sweet dog Zoe.

Dianna loved her family and friends with all her heart. Her lifelong friends Debra and Vance Kidwell and Pam Watson held a special place in her life. Her grandchildren were her absolute world. Dianna was their biggest cheerleader in school, sports, and life. She dedicated her life to making sure they had every advantage that she could provide for them. She always spoke about them with such pride in her voice and could not brag enough about Marah and Conner.

May her kindness, generosity, and determination always be a reminder of the life of Dianna Murphy.

Per Dianna’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service. In her honor, we ask that donations be made to your local Humane Society, in lieu of flowers.
