DONALD P. "DON" HERBORT, age 45, of Marion died at 6:15 p.m. Monday, July 13, 2009, at the home of his parents.
Don was born on April 17, 1964, in Marion, Indiana, the son of Raymond and Carol (Murphy) Herbort. They survive.
He worked in Information Technology for the City of Marion in the Mayor's Office and was a licensed massage therapist. He spent a year in Germany as an exchange student.
His smile and laugh were infectious. An outgoing personality allowed him to easily make friends.
Survivors include: his parents, Raymond & Carol Herbort of Marion, Indiana; son, Tyler Stefanczyk of Chicago, Illinois; grandmother, Lou Ella Murphy of Marion, Indiana; four brothers, Roger Herbort (Suzett) of Converse, Indiana, Mark Herbort (Debbie) of Dalton, Georgia, Jeff Herbort (Kathy) of Marion, Indiana, and Glen Herbort (Valerie Rowland) of Grand Rapids, Michigan and various nieces & nephews.
Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 17 at Raven-Choate Funeral Home with Father David Newton officiating.
Burial will be in Gardens of Memory, Huntington County, Indiana.
Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, July 16 at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.
