Donna J. Bragg, age 86, of Marion, passed away Sunday, December 6, 2015 in her daughter's home.
Donna was born September 30, 1929 in Marion, Indiana, the daughter of the late Herman and Goldie (Pritchett) Shaneberger. She married Ernest Bragg on July 25, 1969, and he preceded her in death on November 10, 2002.
Donna was a member of the Christland United Methodist Church in Marion and the Garden Club. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, cooking and genealogy. She was very active in her church and loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by two daughters, Sarah (Kevin) Furnish and Kathy Bragg, both of Marion; grandchildren, Nicholas Furnish, Kiley Furnish and Gage Bragg, all of Marion; special nieces, Peggy Wiggin of Marion, Katie Wells of Virginia and Ruth Ann Maisongale of Marion; and many friends and her church family.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Roy Shaneberger and Earl Shaneberger and sister, Lucy Davis.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 10, 2015 at Christland United Methodist Church, 721 E. Charles Street, Marion, Indiana with Pastor Russ Smith officiating.
Burial will follow funeral services in Maple Grove Cemetery, Sweetser, Indiana.
Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 10, 2015 in the church prior to funeral services.
