Donna N. Franks, age 71, of Marion, passed away at 11:05 p.m. Saturday, July 30, 2011, at the Select Hospital, Ft. Wayne, Indiana.
Donna was born on December 7, 1939, in Leonore, Illinois, the daughter of the late Clarence and Mable (Smith) Sarver. She married Earl Franks, and he survives.
Donna retired from United Technologies in Huntington. She was a member of the Marion Moose Lodge.
Survivors include: husband, Earl L. Franks; children, Charles Andrew (Sherry) Hines, Rhonda (Edward) Watts, Tracie (Mark) Franks, and Tammy (Marty) Kirby; step-children, Earl W. Franks, Toni Dudley, and Anthony Franks; sister, Joyce (Walt) Kreiser; grandchildren, Joe Crabtree, Serena Lawson, Shane Whitmire, Shaun Whitmire, Seth Whitmire, Garrett Mostowski, Savannah Watts, Kassie Watts, Mark Franks, Matthew Franks, Josh Hines, Amanda Bryant, Larry Bryant, Jr., Brock Williams, Amanda Kirby, Tasha Kirby, Cole Kirby, Dakota Dudley, Celeste Dudley, Maisy Moore, Timothy Thomas, Bailey Franks, Raymond Franks, Ryan Franks, and Kyle Franks; and 4 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by brothers, Hubie Sarver and Merle Sarver; and twin brothers, Donald and Roland Sarver.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 9, 2011, at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, with the Reverend Mary Ann Freeman and Reverend John Hill officiating.
Burial will be in Grant Memorial Park Cemetery, Marion, Indiana.
