Douglas W. "Bud" Johnson, age 72, of Marion, died at 8:37 a.m. Saturday, September 26, 2009, at Marion General Hospital, Marion.
He was born on December 24, 1936, in Alabama, the son of the late Ernest C. and Marie (Adams) Johnson.
He worked at CASCO in Wabash for 12 years, retiring in 1989. He attended the South Marion Church of Christ, loved to fish and was an avid Chicago Cubs & Indianapolis Colts fan.
Survivors include: daughter, Barbara Lewis (Steven) of Gas City, Indiana; brother, Donald Johnson (Joyce) of Maryland; half-brother, Phillip Adams of Wabash, Indiana; sister, Dorothy Jean Harrigan of Port Orange, Florida; two half-sisters, Paula Holloway of Wabash, Indiana, and Sue Starkey (Dean) of Peru, Indiana, 3 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Memorial Services will be held at 5:00 p.m. Thursday, October 8 at Grace Community Church, 1810 E. Bradford Pike, Marion with Reverend Tom Mansbarger officiating.
Burial will be in Gardens of Memory, Huntington County, Indiana at a later date.
There will be no visitation.
