Edna Sue Lunsford
February 25, 1920 — May 15, 2017
Edna Sue Lunsford, age 97, formerly of Marion, passed away Monday, May 15, 2017 in her home in Nashville, Indiana.
Edna was born February 25, 1920 in Hartford City, Indiana the daughter of the late Zora and Carrie (Miles) Hendricks. She married John N. Lunsford on August 21, 1946, and he preceded her in death on June 3, 2005. She was a homemaker.
Edna and her husband were lifelong supporters of the Marion Giants. She was presented a watch from the Giants in appreciation of her support.
Edna is survived by nieces and nephews, John (Betty) Hendricks, Gay (Don) Fiwek, Mike (Ruth) Hendricks, Carrie Foley, Steven (Cindy) Hendricks, Karen (Sonny) Franks, Sue Lechien (Richard), John (Debbie) Thurman and Richard (Kim) Hendricks.
She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Robert (Genella), Alfred (Esther), and Patrick (Betty) Hendricks; three sisters, Wilma (Melvin) Atkins, Lenamae (Charles) Blair, and Edith (Guy) Ingram.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 19, 2017 in Raven-Choate Funeral Home with Reverend Tom Mansbarger officiating.
Friends and family may call from noon until services on Friday in the funeral home prior to the funeral service.
Burial will take place immediately following the funeral service in Estates of Serenity, Marion, Indiana.
