Edwin "Allen" Vossler

Edwin "Allen" Vossler, age 65, passed away Sunday, February 5, 2012, in his home.
Allen was born on August 8, 1946, in Marion, Indiana, the son of the late Edwin C. and Harriet (Beavers) Vossler. On February 7, 1975, he married Mary Hass and she survives. He worked as an electrician for Local #873 until his retirement, and was an Air Force veteran serving during the Vietnam Conflict.
He loved watching NASCAR and all kinds of car racing. Allen's friends will remember him as an electrician and adventurer.
Survivors include: his wife, Mary Vossler of Sweetser, Indiana; son, Seth (Karen) Vossler, and Karen's children, Mark and Savanna, of Swayzee, Indiana; and brother, Vaughn Vossler of Peru, Indiana.
He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Nicki and Lisa.
Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. (noon) Friday, February 10, 2012, at Raven-Choate Funeral Home with Reverend Mark Hummel officiating. Military honors will be held following funeral services at the funeral home. Cremation will take place after services.
Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until services at noon on Friday, February 10, at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, or the MS Society.
