ELEANOR L. CLARK, age 74, of Marion, died at 3:08 a.m. Wednesday, April 15, 2009, at Marion General Hospital, Marion.
She was born on August 1, 1934, in Georgetown, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Howard and Lena (Stakelin) Hatfield. She married Carl Clark on August 12, 1952. He survives.
She was a LPN/RN at Marion General Hospital for 30 years until her retirement in 1995. She had previously worked at Foster Forbes. She was a member of the Gas City Moose Lodge; The ARK Support Group; and The Association of Operating Room Nurses. She enjoyed sewing, needlework and gardening.
Survivors include husband, Carl Clark of Marion, Indiana; daughters, Laurel Gause of Baytown, Texas; Gail Rutan (John) and Stephanie Wainscott (Jack), both of Marion, Indiana; brother, Harold Hatfield (Audra) of Chesterfield, Indiana; 6 grandchildren & 5 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a son-in-law, Fred Gause and a brother, David Hatfield.
Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, April 20, 2009, at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, with Reverend Tom Mansbarger officiating.
Entombment will be in Gardens of Memory, Huntington County, Indiana.
Friends may call from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. Sunday, April 19 at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.Memorial contributions can be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
