ENOLA DAVIDSON, age 91, went to be with her Lord and Savior at 9:00 p.m. September 11, 2008 at Colonial Oaks Health Care Facility.
She was born on February 14, 1917, in Adair County, Kentucky, to the late WB Sparks and Adella (Wooten) Sparks. She moved to Indiana in 1942 and has lived in Marion the majority of her life. She was married to and preceded in death by both Thomas M. Talbott (1957) and Robert R. Davidson (1991). She was a homemaker and follower of Christ. Her life motto could be summarized as "ever mindful of the needs of others." She loved the Lord and her family. She enjoyed cooking, giving to others and family outings. She also enjoyed listening to hymns.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Burtress Sparks and Adella (Wooten) Sparks and her sister, Thera B. (Sparks) Reliford.
Survivors include her children, Glen (Karen) Talbott, Marion, Thomas (Sandy) Talbott, Los Angeles, CA; Richard (Dianna) Talbott, San Diego, CA; Barbara (Richard) Rider, Marion; grandchildren, Patrick Talbott, Lebanon, Lynaya (Kurt) Harte, Kingston Springs, TN; Walter Allen Talbott, Tucson, AZ; Jeremy E. (Marlena) Rider, Kokomo, Richard A. Talbott Jr., Woodland Hills, CA, Michael C. Talbott, Kingston Springs, TN, Nicholas R. (Heidi) Rider, Converse, Michael D. Talbott, San Diego, CA, Jennifer C. Rider, Kokomo, 13 great-grandchildren; brothers, Harlan (Grace) Sparks, Campbellsville, KY, Donald (Liz) Sparks, Albuquerque, New Mexico and Uriel (Linda) Sparks, Louisville, KY.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 16, 2008 at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion with Pastor James Miller officiating.
Burial will take place in Gardens of Memory, Huntington County, Indiana.
Visitation will be on Monday, September 15 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Raven-Choate Funeral Home.
